Presentation title: Development and usability testing of a support tool to identify models and frameworks to inform the practice of KT

Learning objectives – After the presentation, the audience will be able to:
1. Describe the differences between theories, models and frameworks for KT and how they are used in practice,
2. Identify key barriers and facilitators to identifying and selecting theories, models and frameworks in KT research and practice,
3. Learn about a new online support tool to help KT practitioners to identify an appropriate model or framework to inform their work.

Bio: Dr. Lisa Strifler recently completed her PhD at the University of Toronto’s Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. Her doctoral research used rigorous methods guided by models and evidence on implementation science and user-centered design, to develop and test the usability of an online support tool for KT practitioners. Her thesis project was supported by a CIHR Doctoral Research Award.
