“Using Primary Care Electronic Medical Record Data to Inform Practice Quality Improvement”
Biography:
Dr. Sabrina Wong’s research focuses on the delivery and organization of primary health care services. She examines both supply side factors such as human resources (e.g. different providers and teams) influencing the quality of primary health care and demand side factors such as access to care and the association of sector (e.g. primary care and public health) collaborations on integration of care. Wong has expertise working with large administrative datasets, survey development and psychometric analysis.
Dr. Wong is the co-lead both the pan-Canadian Primary Care Sentinel Surveillance Network and the Strategy for Patient Oriented Primary and Integrated Health Care Innovation Network. She is also currently Canada’s representative to the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) for a primary care patient experience survey that will be developed and implemented across its member countries in the coming year.impact of sex, gender and other intersectional factors on medication prescription and use.
