  • Understand the background and importance of exploring the quality of knowledge translation and implementation science (KT-IS) practice tools (e.g., models, frameworks, guides, checklists)
  • Learn about the current knowledge and key lessons learned from research conducted to date
  • Understand future research directions and the important role of ongoing engagement from the KT-IS community in shaping these efforts

Bio

Aunima R. Bhuiya, MSc is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. Supervised by Dr. Monika Kastner, Aunima’s doctoral research explores the quality of knowledge translation and implementation science (KT-IS) practice tools (e.g., models, frameworks, guides, checklists). Aunima’s research is supported by the CIHR CGS-D award. She is also currently a Co-Lead, Evidence Synthesis at the McMaster Health Forum. Previously, she worked at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization. Her research interests include knowledge translation/ implementation science, inclusive leadership, and health systems policy research.
