Joyce Dogba

Relay the message! From Deliberative Dialogue to Knowledge Translation: An effective research tool

Biography:

Dr. Joyce Dogba is an assistant professor and researcher in the Department of Family and Emergency Medicine at Laval University’s Faculty of Medicine. She co-leads the Patient Engagement group with Diabetes Action Canada SPOR Network and co-developed the patient engagement mechanism of the network through consultation with those whose lives are touched by diabetes. Her research agenda focuses on the evaluation of collaborative practices with patient-users in research and the education of health professionals. Dr. Dogba holds a degree in general medicine from Togo, and a PhD in Public Health at the University of Montreal. She completed post-doctoral fellowships at Shriners Hospital and McGill University.
