DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE! \nPresenter: Dr. Mahée Gilbert-Ouimet & Léonie Matteau \nPresentation title: Knowledge to Action in Occupational Health: Implementing and Evaluating a Participatory Psychosocial Risk Reduction Approach in Healthcare Organizations \nDate & time: Thurs\, October 8\, 2026; 12:00-1:00pm Eastern time \nLearning objectives – by the end of the presentation\, participants will be able to: \n\nIdentify knowledge-to-action gaps that arise when translating evidence on psychosocial risks prevention into workplace practice.\nDescribe implementation strategies used across the six stages of a participatory psychosocial risk reduction process.\nApply implementation science indicators to anticipate barriers\, engage stakeholders\, and support sustainable organizational change in occupational health.\n\nBiographies \n \nDr. Mahée Gilbert-Ouimet is an occupational health epidemiologist with a PhD from Université Laval and postdoctoral training in occupational epidemiology at the Institute for Work & Health in Toronto and in health economics at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). She is a Full Professor at Université du Québec à Rimouski and Canada Research Chair on Psychosocial Risks at Work. Her research mainly focuses on the adverse health impacts of psychosocial risks at work and on the development and evaluation of tools and organizational interventions to assess and prevent these risks and promote healthier workplaces. \n  \nLéonie Matteau is a registered nurse and doctoral candidate in the Interdisciplinary Doctorate in Health and Society at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). She completed her initial nursing training at Cégep de Trois-Rivières\, earned a Bachelor of Nursing Sciences from Université de Montréal\, and holds a Master’s degree in Nursing Sciences (Research Profile) from Université du Québec à Rimouski. Under the supervision of Mahee Gilbert-Ouimet\, her doctoral research examines the implementation and effectiveness of a participatory approach to reducing psychosocial risks among healthcare workers. Her research interests include occupational health\, implementation science and process analysis. \n
